厦门大学海洋化学专业博士,厦门大学近海海洋环境科学国家重点实验室助理研究员,2020年9月入职海南大学南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室,主要从事海洋氮生物地球化学循环研究,应用稳定氮同位素技术开展氮迁移转化过程机制及其与环境气候互馈机理研究。主持国家自然科学基金委面上项目,参与国家自然科学基金委重大研究计划和面上项目多项。在Nature Climate Change, Water Research, JGR-oceans, 和STE等期刊发表论文18篇。


Ehui Tan

Title/position: Associate Research Fellow, Doctoral Supervisor


Ehui Tan was a Ph.D. in Marine Chemistry at Xiamen University and currently is working as an associate researcher fellow at the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science at Xiamen University. In September 2020, he joined the State Key Laboratory of Marine Resource Utilization in South China Sea at Hainan University, specializing in research on marine nitrogen biogeochemical cycles. He conducts research on the mechanisms of nitrogen migration and transformation processes and their feedback mechanisms with environmental climate using stable nitrogen isotope technology. He has led multiple general projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as participated in several major research projects and general projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published in Nature Climate Change, Water Research, JGR-oceans, STR, and other journals.

研究方向

全球变化(如升温、缺氧和酸化等)下陆海关键带(包括流域、湖泊、湿地、地表河口、地下河口、近岸海洋等不同生态系统)水体和沉积物中的氮生地化循环及其气候反馈,具体内容包括:

1)氮循环动力学过程(主要为反硝化和厌氧氨氧化)与调控;

2)温室效应气体氧化亚氮的源汇结构;

3)氮与其他元素如铁、锰和硫酸盐等的耦合过程;

4)驱动氮循环过程的功能微生物;

5)沉积物脱氮过程的模型模拟研究。

欢迎具有海洋化学、海洋生物学、环境科学与工程和生态学等相关知识背景的硕士、博士加入!


Research Interests

Global changes (warming, hypoxia, and acidification), the nitrogen biogeochemical cycle and its climate feedback in key land-ocean zones (including watersheds, lakes, wetlands, surface and subsurface estuaries, and nearshore oceans, among others) Specific content includes:

(1)the dynamical processes (mainly denitrification and anaerobic ammonia oxidation) and regulation of nitrogen cycling;

(2)the source-sink structure of nitrous oxide, a greenhouse gas;

(3)the coupling process of nitrogen with other elements such as iron, manganese, and sulfate;

(4)functional microorganisms that drive nitrogen cycling processes;

(5)modeling and simulation studies of denitrification in sediments.

Welcome new participants, including Master's and doctoral students with knowledge backgrounds in marine chemistry, marine biology, environmental science and engineering, and ecology.
