The program of Foreign Languages and Literature was established in 1988, and approved as the authorization point for the second-level discipline master’s program in 2004 and the first-level discipline master’s program in 2018. Currently, we offer the master’s programs in English Language and Literature, Japanese Language and Literature, and Russian Language and Literature. The professional master’s program in Translation and Interpreting (English translation and English Interpreting) was approved in 2011, and Japanese Translation was enlisted in 2017. The School of International Studies is striving for the first-level discipline doctoral program in Foreign Languages and Literature.
