Hainan University Won the "Winners Cup" for the First Time in the Entrepreneurship Plan Competition for National College Students

On March 19th, the national final of the 13th "Challenge Cup" of Entrepreneurship Plan Competition for Chinese College Students closed at Beijing Institute of Technology. Three project teams from Hainan University were shortlisted and ultimately won the "Winners Cup", achieving a new breakthrough for Hainan Province in the "Challenge Cup" Entrepreneurship Plan Competition.

Hainan University, relying on the advantages of Hainan Free Trade Port construction, focuses on cultivating a fertile land for innovation and entrepreneurship to create an atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship, and strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship practices. The university cultivates students' innovative spirit, strengthens their entrepreneurial awareness, and enhances their creative ability through a diverse innovation and entrepreneurship education system. The university fully integrates multiple resources, leverages the advantages of all parties, and forms a good atmosphere and mature mechanism for collaborative support of students' innovation and entrepreneurship.

Since the launch of the "Challenge Cup" competition in January 2022, Hainan University has organized more than 30 publicity events, 13 special training sessions, and 5 national event training sessions. The university has invited more than 20 entrepreneurs, investors, outstanding alumni, and project members, ensuring that each project has content, quality, and significance.

It is learned that the 13th "Challenge Cup" of Entrepreneurship Plan Competition for Chinese College Students was jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the China Association for Science and Technology, the All-China Students’ Federation, and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. It attracted 1.424 million students from 3011 universities across the country to participate, and 463 projects entered the final defense of the national finals.
