We focus on cultivating students to increase interest and practical innovation in scientific research, with remarkable results in nurturing students. In recent years, there are two students winning the China Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, five students winning the honorary titles of "Striving to be good youth in the new era" and "The Stars of Self-improvement", and one student winning the May Fourth Youth Medal of Hainan Province. Our students successively won 1 third prize of National Challenge Cup, 2 first prizes of National Competition of Mechanical Innovation Design, 1 grand prize of ICAN International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, 1 first prize and 9 second prizes of National Competition of Intelligent Automobile for College Students, 2 second prizes of National Competition of Electronic Design, and more than 100 awards at provincial level and above in various disciplinary competitions. In the Mechanical Engineering Department, the student party branch was selected as one of the first batch of "National Model Branches of Party Building Work" by the Ministry of Education, and multiple teams were honored as "China's Top 100 Social Practice Teams". A large number of outstanding undergraduate graduates are admitted to famous universities at home and abroad for further study every year.
