长期从事环境科学和气候变化的研究。主持国家自然科学基金3项，省部级项目多项，参加多次南北极科学考察，发表论文30多篇（其中SCI论文16篇）。对海洋环境科学、气候变化和海洋科学有较为深入的了解。
